The Kerbs – Creep

Who: The Kerbs (Band)
What: Song / Music video

At its core, the song is about personal experiences of shame and sense of failure when met with rejection.  ‘Creep’  touches on an all too common story of the depression that is felt by people who struggle to live up to the standards that society has set for them.  The music video for ‘Creep’ attempts to capture the struggle that many people experience when they begin to fear failure and amplifies the tole it can take on ones well being.

The Kerbs are a four piece independent rock band from Foxford, Co. Mayo that formed Spring 2017. Growing up in a rural town with a strong counter-culture music scene the lads found common interests in bands like Pearl Jam, The Doors and Stone Roses which remnants of this is evident in their sound. The last 6 months have seen them release 3 hotly received singles (‘Changes’ , “I Am Zeus” and “Creep”) which have received support from national and regional stations like RTE Radio 1, Radio Nova, iRADIO, WLRFM, SPIN 1038, Cork 96fm, Mid-West Radio plus many more. As well as the airplay The Kerbs have performed live on FM 104, RTE 2XM and LMFM and have been featured in publications the likes of JOE.IE, IMRO, REMY, Broadsheet.ie, Indie Buddie, Emerging Indie Bands.com. Also their music has been added to official Spotify playlists the likes of Release Radar and also First Music Contacts – Made in Ireland playlist.
