Becoming unstuck….

OCD is a term we often loosely throw around in society. If someone likes cleaning a lot, or who likes their record collection a certain way, we often joke that they have OCD.

However, for some, OCD can be an incredibly debilitating form of anxiety that can completely consume an individual. So much so, they can’t function normally doing everyday stuff. I have some close mates with it and I know how deeply distressing it can become for them.

Because we use the term so loosely we don’t see it as something that can be so difficult to live with.

Rather than explain the ins and outs of OCD take a look at the video below. I feel the best way to comprehend mental health issues is to listen to someone who has lived with them. It can sometimes become much more relatable and have more power than describing the scientific background to the issue.
