A New Podcast Series Tackling Our Mental Health ‘System’

We so often hear the message that if you are suffering or having a hard time with your mental health, to just ask for help. The story we don’t often hear is what happens when you do.

In the first full-length episode of Where There’s A Will, co-hosts Paula and Ciara talk to Dr Ciara Kelly about her experience as a GP in providing that first port of call for people who are worried about their mental health, and they speak to Dr Eddie Murphy, clinical psychologist, who talks about how hard it is for people to open up, and ask for help. Also, Victoria and James tell their first hand account of getting help for their mental health.

Please subscribe to Where There’s a Will wherever you get your podcasts, tell your friends about it, and share it far and wide. Also, we want to hear from you: have you had experiences with the system you’d like to share? Or have you ideas about how we can make things better, easier and faster for people to get help? Send us a short voice recording to editor@alustforlife.com or simply record a WhatsApp voice note, and text it to 0831190269.

This podcast is made possible with the kind support of our sponsor, Revive Active.
