Wellbeing in schools

A Lust for Life contributor John Doran gives this powerful talk on wellbeing in schools. This video is a must-watch for teachers, students, and do you know what? Most adults I know could use this advice too.

He asks “what can you achieve in your life if you take your courage in your hands, face your fears, and simply start?” I don’t know about you, but I might just pin that above my desk and read it every morning.

“We’re born with two fears – the fear of loud noises and the fear of falling over. All other fears are learned along the way. The fear of missing out, the fear of not fitting in, the fear of not being enough… you always were enough, you always will be enough, because you were born enough.”
